Guerin Austin is a three-time Emmy Award-winning TV show host and reporter.  

She is currently in her 5th season as the sideline Reporter for the Boston red sox.    

Austin is also a reporter and host for Nesn sports today and the rink-side reporter for college hockey on NESN.   

In 2014-2015, she served as the rink-side reporter for the Boston Bruins. Prior to joining NESN,  Austin served as host and reporter for the Emmy Award- winning “Caps Red Line,” on the NHL Network, which includes in-depth features with players, a behind-the-scenes look at exclusive events and unique coverage of the NHL’s biggest events.   

In addition to CRL, Austin also served as an anchor and reporter for the Monumental Network and served as the in-game host for the Washington Capitals and Washington Kastles Tennis Team.

Earlier in her career, Austin worked as an entertainment and lifestyle host.  She’s also worked as a technology reporter, travel host, red carpet correspondent in Hollywood and interviewed the biggest names in music, movies and sports.

Austin began her broadcasting career as a sports intern for KETV in Omaha, Nebraska covering Husker Football and UNO Hockey.

Austin has also worked as a model and actress and has appeared in several national ad campaigns as well as commercials, TV shows and movies.

In 2004, Austin was crowned Miss Nebraska USA and competed for Miss USA at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.  During her reign, she spoke to thousands of school children and toured the USS Nebraska Submarine and Camp Pendleton. In 2002, she won a community service award from the Miss America Organization. 

Originally from Washington State, Austin trained as a competitive figure skater and dancer. 

Austin graduated cum laude with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Oklahoma City University.  She received an award from the Oklahoma Broadcaster’s Association, was a Congressional Intern and studied international media in London.
